Customer Service Representative

Location: Glasgow 110 St Vincent Street, G2 5ER

Start Date: 26th October 2026

Hourly Pay Rate: £14.40

Contract Type: 6-months temporary contract with potential for extension

Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in office, 3 days from home following training

Training Period: 4 weeks 100% office-based

About the Role:

We are looking for customer-focused and professional Customer Service Representatives to join Lloyds Banking Group. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inbound telephone calls and providing outstanding service across a range of customer queries.

You will support customers with payment-related enquiries, account servicing requests, and general banking queries, ensuring each interaction is handled efficiently, accurately, and with empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound customer calls, providing professional support for payment and account-related queries.
• Resolve customer issues, update records accurately, and complete associated administration tasks.
• Identify customer needs and deliver appropriate solutions while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Work within compliance guidelines and collaborate with internal teams to resolve enquiries.
• Achieve individual and team targets within a fast-paced contact centre environment.
• Skills & Experience Required

Essential Skills:

• Previous customer service experience with strong telephone and communication skills.
• Experience handling inbound calls and customer enquiries.
• Good listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and multitasking skills.
• Good attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Professional, positive approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in banking, financial services, or contact centre environments.
• Knowledge of payment processes and customer account servicing.
• Experience using CRM or customer management systems.
