Job Description:

As an Engineering Manager in the Central Belt of Scotland, you'll oversee the day-to-day engineering operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Your role will ensure that engineering processes run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall performance of the business.

Description

• Lead and manage a large engineering team (circa 30 heads) to deliver effective operations.
• Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure machinery and equipment are fully operational.
• Implement and monitor safety and compliance standards across all engineering activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet operational goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
• Analyse and report on engineering performance and KPIs.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to resolve engineering challenges.

Profile

A successful Engineering Manager should have:

• Ideally degree educated within an Engineering discipline
• Proven experience working at Senior Leadership level within Engineering in the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record managing large teams (cica 30 heads)
• Passion for CI and driving improvement projects
• Solid understanding of engineering processes and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in Central Scotland
