Export Coordinator

£32,000 - £35,000

Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)

Alexander Steele are delighted to be recruiting for an Export Coordinator on behalf of a global logistics and freight forwarding business based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with freight forwarding or international logistics experience to join a growing operation and play a key role in managing ocean export shipments from booking through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, overseas agents and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate export documentation and customs compliance.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
• Manage invoicing and operational administration.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while meeting deadlines.

About You

• Previous experience within freight forwarding, shipping or international logistics.
• Knowledge of ocean export processes and documentation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
