Hire Desk Coordinator

Location: Kilsyth
Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Hire Desk Coordinator to join a busy and dynamic team based in Kilsyth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with technology and systems, and is confident communicating with a wide range of people over the phone.

The Role

As a Hire Desk Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of equipment and resource bookings. Working within a busy office environment, you'll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, processing hire requests, updating internal systems, and providing exceptional customer service.

You'll be working closely with site teams, suppliers, drivers, and customers, so confidence on the phone and the ability to build strong working relationships is essential.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience from the construction or engineering industry
  
  
• Previous experience in a busy administration, customer service, hire desk, transport, logistics, or coordination role
  
  
• Confident and professional telephone manner
  
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  
  
• Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems and technology
  
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team
