Roadmarking Operative
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm
Overtime: Available at x1.5 and x2 rates

Are you an experienced Roadmarking Operative looking for a new opportunity with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern and excellent overtime potential? We are currently recruiting for a Roadmarking Operative to join a busy and growing team based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with roadmarking or highways experience who is looking for a stable, long-term position with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime.

The Role

As a Roadmarking Operative, you will be responsible for safely delivering high-quality roadmarking works across a range of highways and off-highway projects.
Duties will include:

• Carrying out roadmarking and line-marking works to a high standard.
• Working on highways and local authority contracts.
• Completing car park, industrial and other off-highway markings.
• Setting out and preparing areas prior to works.
• Operating roadmarking equipment and machinery.
• Following site safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
• Travelling to various sites as required.

Candidate Requirements
The successful Roadmarking Operative will ideally have:

• Previous experience in roadmarking, highways or a similar environment.
• Valid CSCS Card – Essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence – Essential.
• Class 1 or Class 2 Licence – Highly Desirable.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• NVQ qualification is NOT required.
