School Cleaners Required (PVG)

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting PVG Cleared Cleaners to work with our public sector client across Glasgow. These are part-time positions offering a variety of morning and afternoon shifts, making them ideal for those looking for work that fits around other commitments.

Position Details

Role: School Cleaner (PVG Required)

Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £13.52 per hour

Start Date: Immediate start available following completion of all necessary checks

Available Shifts (Monday to Friday)

Either early mornings 6am - 8am or 6am - 9am

or afternoon shifts 3pm - 7pm or 330pm - 630pm

Part-time hours ranging from 15 to 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for staff and pupils. Duties may include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Sanitising touchpoints and surfaces
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
• Cleaning washroom facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as required
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Experience & Skills Required

We're looking for dependable and hardworking individuals who can maintain high cleaning standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience
• A current PVG certificate or willingness to undergo the PVG process
• Availability to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis
• Flexibility to work across different sites within the Glasgow area when required
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
