Senior Engineer

Airport Infrastructure Project

£450 per day Inside IR35

Long-Term Contract

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major airport infrastructure project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme involving a mixture of concrete works, general civil engineering, ducting and drainage packages within a complex operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising site engineering activities.
• Overseeing concrete structures and associated civil engineering works.
• Coordinating drainage, ducting and utility installation works.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Producing and maintaining QA documentation and as-built records.
• Supporting project planning and programme delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in concrete works, drainage, ducting and general civils.
• Previous airport, aviation or other live operational infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.
• Proficient in setting out, quality assurance and engineering documentation.
• CSCS Card.
• SMSTS preferred.

Rate & Duration

• £450 per day
• Inside IR35
• Long-term contract
