• £36,000pa + bonus and excellent benefits
• 40hrs pw 5/7

Supporting the Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of all kitchen operations across:

• Raceday hospitality
• Conferences & events
• Banqueting & private functions
• Non-raceday catering activity

You’ll help lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver outstanding food quality, exceptional presentation and memorable guest experiences across every service.

What You'll Do:

• Support the delivery of exceptional food across racedays, hospitality suites, conferences, banquets and private events
• Assist the Head Chef in leading day-to-day kitchen operations within a busy, fast-paced environment
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes to consistently high standards of taste and presentation
• Lead, motivate and support casual and permanent kitchen team members during service
• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and company standards at all times
• Help create innovative seasonal menus and fresh event catering concepts
• Maintain strong organisation and efficiency during high-volume service periods
• Build positive relationships with colleagues across culinary, front-of-house and venue teams
• Support stock control, food ordering and minimising waste to achieve cost targets
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork, creativity and guest satisfaction

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality, events or banqueting kitchen
• Experience within stadia, racecourse, hotel or event catering operations (preferred)
• A passion for fresh food, creativity and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• The ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities
• Good knowledge of food safety and compliance standards
• Relevant culinary and food safety qualifications
