Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead test management and delivery within a large-scale transformation environment. The successful candidate will bring strong experience across test strategy and delivery, risk and controls, stakeholder management, business process improvement and technology change.

This is a senior, client-facing role requiring the ability to work across business and technology teams, provide clear reporting and analysis, identify and manage delivery risks, and drive continuous improvement throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test management across large-scale transformation programmes.
• Develop and implement appropriate test strategies, plans, governance and reporting.
• Manage testing risks, issues, dependencies, controls and associated mitigation plans.
• Provide clear and accurate reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Work collaboratively with business, technology, delivery and third-party stakeholders.
• Support and drive business process re-engineering (BPR) and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to digital and technology change programmes, ensuring testing is aligned to business outcomes.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and functional teams to understand requirements, processes and functional design.
• Provide effective stakeholder and client management, communicating progress, risks and decisions clearly.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, controls, governance and delivery effectiveness.
• Apply strong business acumen and strategic thinking to testing and transformation challenges.
• Ensure high standards of written communication across test documentation, reporting and governance materials.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong Test Management experience gained within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, risk management, controls and delivery governance.
• Strong experience producing reporting, analysis and management information for senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrable stakeholder management and professional collaboration skills.
• Experience driving business process improvement and/or business process re-engineering (BPR).
• Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives across business and technology environments.
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis and functional design principles.
• Excellent client-facing, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong attention to delivery detail.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex business and technology environments.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within complex, regulated or highly governed environments.
• Experience managing testing across multiple workstreams, systems or business functions.
• Experience operating within large programmes involving significant organisational or technology change.
• Experience establishing or improving test governance, controls and reporting frameworks.
