The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Welder to join our Pre-Production department.

You'll play a key role manufacturing and converting components for Allied Vehicles products by using general welding and fabrication tools and techniques.

Hours of work are Monday to Wednesday, 9pm-7am and Thursday 8pm-6am and the salary is up to £21 per hour, dependant on experience. You will carry out your training on dayshift at the rate of £14.71 for several weeks. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Adhere to job cards and complete all work in accordance with information provided, paying attention to the order of work and the time allowed.
• Comply with quality control systems, methods and documentation.
• Take all reasonable precautions to ensure all work is carried out in a manner to avoid damage to vehicles, equipment and company property.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• Experience as a time served or qualified welder with M.I.G. experience.
• Previous experience of welding and fabrication of sheet metal.
• Familiarity with weld symbols.
