Your new company
A respected social housing organisation is seeking an experienced Housing Assistant to support its Housing Management team on a temporary basis for an anticipated 7-week contract.This role will suit someone with a strong understanding of housing management who enjoys working directly with tenants and supporting the delivery of high-quality housing services. You will play a key role in helping to manage tenancies, respond to resident enquiries, support estate management activities, and contribute to the overall success of the housing service.
Your new role

• Supporting the delivery of tenancy management services
• Responding to tenant enquiries and providing housing advice
• Assisting with tenancy sign-ups, changes of tenancy and tenancy sustainment matters
• Supporting estate management activities and neighbourhood inspections
• Investigating low-level tenancy issues and anti-social behaviour cases
• Working closely with residents and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
• Maintaining accurate tenancy records and case files

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Housing Assistant role
• Knowledge of tenancy management and social housing legislation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with tenants and colleagues
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to housing management
